marquess
Hi experts,i'm a newbie on this forum. read a lot and just made the following deal on PRICELINE:W New York Hotel 2 nights, $183 per night including all taxes and fees. Regular price at $ 250.What do you think of the hotel and the price? Some write that the rooms are pretty small...a reason to be disappointed? :) Thanks for your answer and greetings from Germany! AaronJB
Congrats on your success and Welcome to Betterbidding. :)This is a nice deal for the W - in terms of small rooms, most properties in the city have small/very small rooms. This property was also renovated a year or two ago.Can you confirm the price before taxes/fees? (the bid price) Thanks.Thank you for sharing your win and please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.Enjoy your stay. Link to comment
marquess
Thanks AaronJB you for your answer! (even though you have to say that this was good deal, haven't you?:))You must know that this is my first time in NYC and my first bid on priceline.com!! But this is a great forum, thanks for all the helpful hints. Since we're planning an east coast tour, i'll be looking in boston perhaps. yesterday i was rejected at $160 for 4* in the waterfront area..so prices obviously have risen..Do you have a recommendation about parking in Boston? Have absolutely no idea how wo deal with that for a reasonable price...Yes, can confirm the price: it is $ 150 per night before fees and taxes. Link to comment
AaronJB
NYC rates have gone up this year and this is definitely a nice deal for late Summer, as well as a good location for sightseeing in NYC.Not sure about parking in Boston, but hopefully local posters can chime in. If you need help with your Boston stay, please post a thread in the Massachusetts area and we would be happy to help. Link to comment
marquess
Thanks Aaron. Alright, then I'm happy with the W. I'll post how it was. Will try to find something in Boston and surely post the result in the Massachusetts area!Thank you so much for your advice! Link to comment
thingslost
Depending on where you stay in boston, parking can be annoying. Hotels will have parking for guests, but are around $30 a night (and can be more depending on if it's self parking or valet). Link to comment
