Priceline Hotel: 3* Dominican Republic (Santo Domingo) Courtyard

I was bidding for a relative who was going to visit Santo Domingo for 3 nights.

I tried the Santo Domingo area for $45 at the 4 star level but was rejected. Later i tried with 3.5 and 3 star hotels and got nothing. I tried the Punta Cana and Puerto Plata all inclusive hotels (as a re-bid zone, since no hotel will offer an all inclusive stay for 2 for $40 or $55 a night) and increased my bid to $50, then $55, until finally getting my bid accepted at the Courtyard by Marriott Santo Domingo downtown.

Total for 3 nights is $215, which is pretty a deal, since the normal hotel rate for this stay was $99 per night.
