Mokakro Posted July 22, 2010 Report Share Posted July 22, 2010 I was lowballing and attempted the following bids....$38 - 4* ORD South - declined$38 - 4* ORD South and North - declined$38 - 3.5* ORD South and North - declinedThen it offered me the option to bid the same areas and star level for $10 more. I was getting a little nervous as the reservation is for tomorrow and I knew I had been lowballing, so I accepted the suggestion to bid $10 more. My $48 bid was accepted and I got the 4* Hyatt Regency O'Hare. I'm a little disappointed with myself that I didn't just go a little higher (maybe $42) in the first place and it might have been accepted, but it's still a good deal. Link to comment
