thereuare
Do you have a maximum bid in mind? (I have an idea how much it will cost, but want to make sure we're on the same page) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
cbird
Yes had hoped to get it for about 100$, but would pay up to about 120$. Is this feasible do you think? Link to comment
LoneStar
both hotels are available for your days. We've seen successful bids lately for the Prince in the $110 range. It could conceivably take a little more, but it's out there at that price. The Marriott is also available, but it will probably cost $7 to $12 more per night. Link to comment

cbird
Forgot to say.Interestingly I bid 100$ and got the message to increase the bid by 21$ without using a rebid zone. Decided to use a rebid and up it by 8$ and got it! Link to comment

LoneStar
If anyone's keeping track of this stuff, if you price the Prince on priceline packages and subtract the airfare, it comes out to $127.50 a night -- not much of a deal! I'm actually a little surprised that priceline insists on that large a mark-up on its packages.Over the next several weeks, I'll try to figure out the maximum mark-up priceline utilizes, as it will help determine what the lowest realistic bid would be. My guess is priceline doess it on a percentage basis of total trip cost. Link to comment
