Priceline Hotel: 4* in Vegas 6/17 - 6/20

I am going to Vegas for a wedding in June and the person I was sharing a room with decides they want to have their own room. They kind of screwed me last minute since our room for 3 nights was $221 at MGM and now those same rooms are over $400.

I was wondering what tips anyone has for me to hopefully get a room at MGM for a similar price. I was thinking of calling and asking to get that same price since I know two parties that have rooms booked there for the same price.

If there are any other suggestions as what I should do that would help a lot, since I have less than a month to go.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Would you be willing to consider a different hotel in the nearby area or is the MGM Grand the only hotel you're willing to accept?
