Tried bidding first $85 for 4* White House/Downtown, then worked my way up adding Convention Center, Dupont Circle, and lowering stars to 3.5 and 3, raising the bid by $5 and $10 at a time. Added Georgetown/Foggy Bottom at $129. This was accepted for the Georgetown University Hotel and Suites. Now wishing I had gone with Crystal City as the Georgetown Hotel is not near a metro. They do seem to have a free shuttle, though. :) I'm hopeful that it will turn out well for us and we'll put up a review after our stay. Thanks! Link to comment
