twosweetpeas
Hi there! New to the board, and used the PRICELINE link on the board to start my priceline bidding on Las Vegas. I wanted to try for Vegas Strip South, but that area is not listed there. Only Las Vegas Strip South Vicinity. Is this just because there are no hotels available on priceline for that particular area today, and may be available at a later date? Thanks for your help! Link to comment
twosweetpeas
Two quick questions and I'm ready to start bidding. Has Trump Towers now been moved from Vegas Strip North to Vegas Strip North Vicinity? Meaning if I bid on a 5 star in Strip North I can avoid Trump? And also, any bid I place on either Priceline or Hotwire, does NOT include resort fees? Just want to make sure I factor that in when I bid. Thanks again! Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! On PRICELINE there is only one South Strip zone, which they call South Strip Vicinity (we simply call it "Strip South").In the North, PRICELINE uses TWO north strip zones:Strip NorthStrip North Vicinity... we use the same names for each.Trump Towers was last reported in PRICELINE's North Strip Vicinity zone. (note that HOTWIRE uses different zone names and boundaries so don't confuse the two)The total you pay PRICELINE or HOTWIRE includes taxes but not Resort fees, if any.Hope that clarifies things. If you'd like help with a bidding strategy let us know the dates of your stay and your maximum bid price and we'll advise accordingly. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please follow-up this thread with whatever you end up doing for this stay, even if you choose to book direct, cancel your trip, etc. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
