Priceline Hotel: 3.5* Simsbury Simsbury Inn

Used BetterBidding's links to access PRICELINE and make all my bids.

Started at $80 for 3.5*, bid rejected.

Added 3* option, bid again for $85, bid rejected - PRICELINE countered with offer to get my hotel if I was willing to raise bid an additional $22 ($107 total). Declined, added 2.5* option, increased bid to $93. Bid accepted.

The Simsbury Inn was the hotel I assumed we'd get, based on the map. We're booking for a wedding, and the wedding party had negotiated a group rate there for $169/night. The hotel's website & Kayak listed its standard rate as $259. Substantial savings - we got both nights, taxes & fees included, for $218.72.
