snowcat2033
I'm looking at a 4*, Waikiki Beach area for June 16-25, 2010. I get a rate of $114 per night and the amenities are as follows:Resort, Beachfront, Smoke Free, Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business, Laundry, Hi Speed, and Children's Programs. I think it might be the Sheraton? iThanks. And if it is - do they charge resort? Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! The above is a match for the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel so that would be my best guess. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. BrianD4
The Sheraton did not charge me a resort fee during my stay in December. To my knowledge, the only fee is parking ($25/night). Link to comment
snowcat2033
Hyatt Regency Waikiki Resort & Spa 6/16/10 - 6/25/10 $ 110/night Started bidding at 102, was asked for another 22 but I rebid 106 and then again 110 which was accepted. I stardted bidding few days ago and I was bidding up to $ 118 yesterday so this is a good price. I was hoping for Sheraton and I am not sure if I am happy with this hotel - I am afraid that the rooms are dated and that I will end up with small room and terrible views for 9 nights! At least the location should be good :) Link to comment

thereuare
If you're unhappy with the room assigned politely ask if something else is available. If they state their full, mention that you'll be there for 9 nites and would be willing to change rooms the following day once a better room is vacated.Enjoy your stay. snowcat2033
Thanks. Yes, I will definitely be polite to get what I want - even after travelling 25 hours and 12 hours time difference. Now I just need to start bidding for LA hotel or maybe I play it safe and pay more. And there are quite cute small houses for rent in Venice Beach :) By the way: can anyone tell me how my two posts ended up as one. :) Yesterday I was checking up priceline forum and I decided to share my win. I chose New topic and then I was asked to sign in, which I did. I then wrote the topic and the message. I checked it and it was fine Link to comment
thereuare
Your threads were merged... all posts for the same stay go in the same thread. This way future readers can see entire 'journey of the win' from start to finish in one place. As well, it helps keep the board better organized and more useful for everyone, otherwise your HOTWIRE thread would have just ended without a conclusion or resolution, leaving future users what you ultimately did for that stay. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
