splendifferous
Started bidding on 3 1/2 star properties in the Raleigh area only (not Durham, Cary or Chapel Hill) at $38 and re-bid up to $50 in $2 increments with no success.Dropped down to 3 stars and started bidding at $30 and re-bid up to $34 with no success. I was determined not to pay over $35 a night for the Holiday Inn Brownstone considering the recent poor reviews. So, my last bid was for $35 and that was the magic number. I'm sure it will be fine for the 15 hours I plan on staying there. Total with taxes and fees is $47.14 Link to comment

trentslori
For what it's worth...the last folks I helped get this hotel at this price for a few months ago said they were given a totally remodeled room that was great. You can't beat the location, and Ledo's pizza is very good! Cameron Village is close, and so is downtown. Link to comment
