yellowdog
Welcome to BetterBidding :) Bellagio is never reported to the board. And Venetian is a 5* located in the North Strip.5* Las Vegas Strip - North area Hotel Link to comment
emanuele091
Thanks for the info!Do you mean the Bellagio is not included in Hotwire deals?I've found the Bellagio on this post: Hotwire hotels list and the amenities correspond to the one you are indicating as possible Wynn (Casino, fitness, pool, restaurant, business center, golf, tennis, spa).Do you think it can be the Bellagio? Also, can you please tell me what hotels these can be:5* Las Vegas Strip - South area Hotel Link to comment
yellowdog
No Bellagio is not reported to the board. If you read the topic for the list you found will you see that this is a list for "possible" hotels only.5* Las Vegas Strip - South area Hotel – 114$This hotel is not reported/ID'd to the board.4.5 * Las Vegas Strip - South area Hotel – 84$I belive that you don't have listed all amenities for the hotel. If you go back to HOTWIRE and click the CONTINUE button next to this offering and then click the "See all amenities" link under the icons, do you see more amenities than what you've listed above?Yellowdog. yellowdog
Best guess would be MGM Grand. Please use the site's HOTWIRE link to start your purchase, and let us know how it goes or if you need any additional help with your stay.Yellowdog.PS. emanuele091
Hi,I am trying to target the Venetian in August. So I am going to bid 5* strip north (then adding re-bid zones..).The 5* priceline hotels in strip north are 4, here the actual prices on 08/22 (pretty low since there's time) :-trump: 75$-venetian: 159$-palazzo: 159$-wynn: 189$I would like the venetian, NOT the trump, but palazzo/wynn would be okay..So, I was thinking to start bidding at 90$ or 95$, which is about a 40% saving on 159$. This is higher than the trump rate so I think it's impossible to get it, and probably too low for the Wynn. So I should get Venetian or Palazzo. What do you think? Can you confirm I won't get the trump?Any suggestion in the bid to have higher probability with the venetian rather than palazzo? Thanks! Thanks,Emanuele Link to comment
thereuare
Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread... if you ultimately use PRICELINE we'll move this entire thread to that section of the board.Bidding high to target/avoid a specific hotel is NOT a recommended strategy, as per this thread: Don't Bid Higher for a Specific HotelHowever, with PRICELINE's new Las Vegas boundaries the Trump is in the Strip North Vicinity zone... so if you stick with just the Strip North zone you should be able to safely avoid the Trump. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. emanuele091
Finally booked on priceline....The Venetian for 85$ !!First bid was 80$, they offered rebate adding 22$, I rejected and closed the browser. After 24 hours, I tried 85$ and it worked! Thanks for the advice,Emanuele Link to comment
