Awesome hotel -- fantastic location -- right next door to Toyota Center,

handful of blocks from Minute-Maid Field, adjoins the Convention Center.

We stayed last weekend. A bit swanky for my tastes -- but it truly was a 4* hotel.

Didn't get to check the amenities other than lobby bar. But rooms were

great.

Got a kick out of the sticker on the door that tells you how much they could have legally charged

$554 per night!

we paid $42 -- got a good laugh at that one.

Parking garage was $12/nt. Use of Gym was $6. My buddy splurged and worked

out there -- said it was top notch equipment -- even had free weights.

We'll be hoping to get this again when we return to Houston -- esp for Astros games.

I stayed at the Hilton Americas on March 11th for $41. It is a very nice hotel. The rooms are spacious, and I loved the bathroom. We went up to the 24th floor to the pool, and the view was wonderful out on the patio area (I don't know what it's called) on top of the roof. Unfortunately, though, we did this about 10 minutes before we had to check out, so we didn't get to enjoy it for long.

Oh yeah, the king size bed had to be one of the softest and most comfortable I've ever been in!

I definitely hope to stay there again when in Houston.

Pretty much the same as above.

The only complaints that I had:

They taxed me for the parking garage on top of the $12.00 daily fee.

You have to pay for high-speed internet at $9.99 a day.

They have a business center for printing and any other paper needs that you may have. You have to pay to use as well, even though you've already paid in your room.

2 Beers, Hamburger, and a Quesadilla was $29.00 at the bar.

I would hate to be there on a venue night, with the convention center attached to this building and two stadiums within one mile.

This hotel meet all of my needs, and I would stay there again.

Side note: If you have the time, go to the aquarium downtown and enjoy a fine meal. Pricy, but well worth the cost due to the view.

This was a great hotel. We walked everywhere while we were downtown. It was really nice to leave the ballpark and not have to worry about downtown Houston traffic at 11 p.m. We had to settle for doubles. The only kings that were available were smoking and I declined, but overall a really nice stay.
