thereuare Posted November 4, 2005 Report Posted November 4, 2005 I'm sorry the above has happened to some of you and appreciate everyone that has brought this to my attention. As many of you have pointed out, the above is NOT legitimate and was not originated by me or anyone else at BetterBidding. :) From the emails that have been forwarded to me, the first thing i noticed is that the emails don't follow the proper format for when they're sent directly from this board. Emails should begin:<receiver's screen name>,<sender's screen name> has sent you this email from http://www.betterbidding.com/index.php.I return next week and will look into this further. In the meantime, if anyone did enter their PayPal information, it is highly recommended that you immediately change your password directly at the PayPal website.Thank you to our member base for warning others and for everyone's patience while i'm on vacation. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
hossmama Posted November 6, 2005 Report Posted November 6, 2005 I got an email like this too and immediately deleted it. I heard about something like this on the radio from Clark Howard. If you don't alrerady listen to him, he's a great consumer advocate. You can find out the times and statio he's on in your area by going to www.clarkhoward.com. No, I am not getting paid to tell you about his radio show!!
