grram1 Posted May 19, 2006 Report Share Posted May 19, 2006 Had checked Hotwire a few days prior and they had a 4* in the same area for $88, when I was ready to book that deal was gone (best Howire deal at that time was over $120 for a 3*). Decided to try the area the 4* was originally offered for $88 and placed a bid of $80 with Priceline... won on first bid (always makes you wish you'd bid a little lower, but given the changes on Howire's pricing I thought the $80 bid was a low-ball bid).
