Mintman10
Looking for Disney family suite rooms with separate kitchenettes for the travel dates of July 12 to July 17. Disney resorts are astronomical and our budget is no more than $200 a night. Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! Generally speaking HOTWIRE offers 'standard' hotel rooms and you can't book a suite or upgraded room (although you can try at check-in to see if any free/paid upgrades are available). Sometimes you will see a hotel that offers a Bed Choice and you may get 'lucky' and it offers the specific room type you are looking for, but given 'regular' rooms at 4* Disney hotels appear to be going for about $400/nite for your dates, i think you're chances are very low of finding an upgraded suite at half the price of a regular room. Assuming no suites are available at $200 or less... what is your gameplan for this trip? Mintman10
I would like to book some type of suite for my family for no more than $230 a night. Close to Disney. Is there no way to get a Disney resort at that price? Link to comment
thereuare
How many adults/children do you need accommodations for? (and what are the ages of the children) Is that $230 figure for the room only or all-in (including taxes/fees)? What is the minimum star rating you're willing to accept? What is the reason(s) for wanting a Disney property? What is the reason(s) for needing a suite? Let us know the information above and we will see if there is anything available within your budget and parameters. thereuare
HOTWIRE only allows you to search up to quad occupancy, but they define 'children' as ages 2-17, so you could theoretically search for 1room/2adults/2children (ages 6/6) and if a hotel appears that offers a Suite as a 'Bed Choice' option you could safely book that and then call the hotel to ensure there is room for your 1 year old (if not, then call HOTWIRE and let them know of the issue stating that you didn't include the 1 year old since they only asked for children aged 2-17) However, i did the search above and did not find any on-site Disney properties that offered a suite, the best i could come up with were: 3.5* HOTWIRE Walt Disney World - Bonnet Creek for $223.00 Resort Shuttle Restaurant Pool Fitness Smoke Free Free Internet Hi-Speed Internet Business Laundry Golf Spa Childrens Activities Free Parking ==> Disney's Coronado Springs Resort with the price above being for a room with 2 Queen beds 3* HOTWIRE Walt Disney World - Bonnet Creek for $191.00 Resort Shuttle Restaurant Pool Smoke Free Free Internet Hi-Speed Internet Laundry Golf Childrens Activities Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Wheelchair Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> Disney's All-Star Sports Resort (but this room is for 2 Double beds) If privacy is more important than the 'disney experience' you could also consider 2 rooms: 4* HOTWIRE Walt Disney World - Bonnet Creek for $102.00 Resort Restaurant Pool Fitness Smoke Free Free Internet Hi-Speed Internet Business Spa Pet Friendly ==> Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort, Bonnet Creek which would not be a Disney property... but does give you two rooms (although no guarantee you could get adjoining rooms) You could also look at the Disney Springs resorts which would give you 'extra magic hours' but from early conversation above i'm not sure if this is going to give you the 'full disney experience' that you're seeking. Ultimately it is going to come down to a trade-off between what you want vs. your budget, as i don't think a full suite for an on-site property is likely at $230 or under.
