I will be two days in wonderful Chicago and want to be in the middle of things and in a lovely hotel. Could you help? Thank you very much, Santillan Link to comment
AaronJB
I'm seeing: 4.5* River North Restaurant, Pool, Indoor Pool, Fitness, Smoke Free, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Blind Accessible, Deaf Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Handicapped Parking, Roll-in Shower, Pet Friendly $119 -- Likely Intercontinental 4.5* River North Boutique, Restaurant, Fitness, Smoke Free, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Laundry, Pet Friendly -- Possible Westin River North 4.5* WT Boutique, Restaurant, Pool, Indoor Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Laundry, Spa, Pet Friendly $148 -- Likely W Lakeshore 4* Navy Pier-MP Restaurant, Fitness, Smoke Free, Free Internet, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Wheelchair Accessible, Roll-in Shower $109 -- Likely Hyatt on Wacker 4.5* WT Boutique, Restaurant, Smoke Free, Hi-Speed Internet $150 -- Likely Ivy Boutique Hotel Personally, I think the Intercontinental is a very nice property for less than the other options, is in a superior location right on Michigan Ave near the river and has an interesting history. If you are looking more at amenities, I think the Westin River North is a particularly lovely Westin property and if there's any way that you can negotiate a River View room on a high floor, those offer a classic Chicago view. The Ivy is also in an excellent location and that's a unique property in that it is a very small, personalized boutique hotel with only a few rooms per floor. The W Lakeshore I'd say no to; it's a nice property but I'd rather the Westin or Ivy for about the same price. The Hyatt on Wacker is an option if you are just looking more for a place to sleep and aren't going to use the hotel amenities as much. Please let me know if you have any questions before booking.
