RFinger
Is this because the hotels offer deals? I am going to Vegas 10/1-5 not quite sure where I want to stay but maybe at the Golden Nugget 2 nights and then the strip the other two nights. The Golden Nugget looks as if it would be easy to identify on Priceline as there is only 1 4 star hotel downtown.Has there been very much lucking Bidding on hotels on the strip? Link to comment
AaronJB
Please provide a follow-up for your prior Cincinnati Hotwire thread, and this one too, with whatever you decided for each of those trips, then reply to this thread and we would be happy to take a look at the above post. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Link to comment
thereuare
I will add to the above... In reviewing the right side of the Priceline Nevada forum there is a full page of threads which dates back less then 2 weeks, so there certainly has been plenty of bidding in this area (and this doesn't even include HOTWIRE purchases) Also, have you made any PRICELINE / HOTWIRE purchases in the last 5+ years since joining the board? If so, you can't complain about there not being many posts (which as per above i don't think is the case) when you're not sharing your own wins. ;) (and if you haven't made any purchases in the last 5+ years, you still can't complain when you don't conclude your threads... 'closing' your threads with your results/decision (if you don't use PRICELINE or HOTWIRE, cancel the trip, book a regular rate hotel, etc) not only keeps the board better organized and more useful for everyone, but it's also a courtesy to anyone who took the time to help with your trip) Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
RFinger
Sorry about that. Honestly I haven't used priceline or hotwire to book hotels as I traveled a lot for work and had a whole bunch of points to use up so when I stayed at hotels i used my points. Other than that my vacations have been to all inclusive resorts. Link to comment

RFinger
I ended up getting a great deal on Expe.dia, so I booked that, as it gets closer if I can cancel Expedia for free I may try Price.line. Link to comment
