sincerelyann
Hi I was hoping if I could please ask for some assistance with bidding strategy on Priceline for West Hollywood - check in 8th August 2015 & check out is the 13th August. I have tried bidding (using the rebid zones) over the last month but still no success :( our budget is $220 (incl taxes & fees) per night Thanks in advance! Link to comment
yellowdog
Sorry to see that you don't hit anything. Can you please post you max budget/night before tax/fee's. How high have you been bidding previously? Is the West Hollywood zone the only zone you're willing to stay in? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Yellowdog. Link to comment
sincerelyann
Hi Yellowdog My max budget per night is $200 before taxes and fees. Previously, I've bidded as high as $230 per night (without taxes/fees), but was still unsuccessful. I'd be happy to expand my selection to also Beverly Hills as well and would also wouldn't mind staying in a 4 star hotel. Link to comment
thereuare
As you have previously already bid up to $230 for a 4.5* in the West Hollywood zone... would this still be acceptable? I'm seeing THIS4.5* West Hollywood hotel for $228/nite thru PRICELINE EXPRESS: Pets Allowed Restaurant Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center ... my guess here would be the Sunset Marquis or the Mondrian Morgans Hotel Do you want to go for the above? If you want to continue to try bidding, what do you want to try for first: 4.5* in West Hollywood ONLY 4.5* in West Hollywood and Beverly Hills-Century City 4* in West Hollywood ONLY 4* in West Hollywood and Beverly Hills-Century City ... for whatever star rating/zone combination you choose, please also confirm your maximum bid (now that you know the 4.5* above is close and within the parameters that you have already previously bid) Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know how you'd like to proceed (or if you take the PRICELINE EXPRESS deal above) and we'll go from there. sincerelyann
Thanks for your reply! I might try bidding again over the next few days to test my luck. I will start bidding with 4* in West Hollywood only first. My maximum bid would be $200 per night excl taxes and fees. Link to comment
thereuare
When bidding 4* in the Los Angeles region you have TEN re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding. I would bid as follows: Select 4* West Hollywood... Bid $150, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $160, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $170, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $175, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $180, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $185, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $190, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $193, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $195, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $198, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $200 Any questions feel free to ask. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Good luck and let us know how it goes. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
