thereuare
Are these two alternate date ranges for the same trip OR will you be in Las Vegas for both sets of dates? If only one trip but flexible dates we will continue to discuss both in the same thread, but if two separate stays we will use this thread for the 4/26-4/29 dates and please start a new topic for the 5/10-5/13 dates. For the PRICELINE EXPRESS property my best guess would be the Palazzo. For all the Name Your Own Price information you have posted above, you can't use this to try to guess which hotel you will receive when bidding on PRICELINE. The 'guaranteed amenities' shown in the Name Your Own Price are amenities that are offered at every hotel in the zone at this star rating, not the description of a specific property that you would be bidding on (in fact, at this point in the bidding process PRICELINE has not yet even checked inventory for your dates) Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
dealios
#1) They are two alternate date ranges for the same trip; preferring the 5/10/15-5/13/15 dates. #2) For the NYOP, I like all of the 5* Strip North except the Trump. Is there anything to look for to avoid getting Trump? Please help with suggested NYOP re-bidding strategy for 5/10/15-5/13/15 going up to about $110. Link to comment
AaronJB
#2) For the NYOP, I like all of the 5* Strip North except the Trump. Is there anything to look for to avoid getting Trump? There is no way to avoid a property when bidding. If you bid 5* in the Strip North zone you have to be willing to accept ANY hotel at that star rating in that zone, including the Trump. thereuare
Please help with suggested NYOP re-bidding strategy for 5/10/15-5/13/15 going up to about $110.You don't want to do this... 1) if you receive the Trump would this be an acceptable outcome? 2) if 'yes' to #1, what looks like the Trump is currently offered on PRICELINE EXPRESS for $79/nite (or at the very least some 5* hotel in the Strip North zone)... so if you were to bid up to $110 not only could you receive the Trump that you say you are hoping to avoid, but you could potentially overbid for it For a 5* Casino hotel (which will ensure you avoid the Trump given they have no casino) you'll need to pay about $160/nite... or you could lower your star rating as what appears to be the SLS Las Vegas Hotel and Casino is offered for a very inexpensive $45/nite (not an ideal location, but perhaps you're interested at this price??) Or you could consider the Strip South zone where what looks like The Cromwell is offered for $98/nite (or you could bid the Strip South zone, if you're willing to accept any hotel in this zone at the star rating or higher you choose) Let us know your thoughts and how you'd like to proceed and we'll advise accordingly.
