st2327
Re San Diego DowntownMost people want to be in the Gaslamp district where there are a number of 4* hotels which you can obtain on Priceline BUT there is also The Sheraton Marina which by car is at least 10 minutes away and which has had many poor reviews. Why does Priceline persist in offering this hotel when they must know this discourages many people from availing themselves of using Pricelineand therefor losing money? Link to comment
bbbb
I use to bid SD a lot but won't any more. At least until the Sheraton is down graded. :) Link to comment
st2327
There must be many who feel this way. last time I was lucky and got the Hilton Gaslamp for $86 and what a great hotel! This time I won't take a chance therefore have booked the Holiday Inn Bayside at $74.50 Entertainment rate and will drive and pay to park downtown. Link to comment
