JAuz
Looking for 5* hotel in Las Vegas gives you the benefit of many free re-bids, so I started at $70 and increased by $1 each time to see where it would get me. $82 didn't work but $83 did. My lowest previously accepted rate in this zone was $94 (Wynn), so I was happy to see it even lower. Link to comment

JAuz
Thanks, I'm quite pleased with the result! One thing that I noticed on my last trip (about 1.5 years ago) was that even though I booked through Priceline NYOP, at check-in time the hotel (Wynn) informed me that I qualified for $100 resort credit. I've seen those kinds of deals when booking directly with the hotel, but I didn't think they would apply when winning a bid. I didn't question it and just enjoyed a free meal. But does this happen often? Maybe it was just a slow time (mid-December if I recall) or simply a mix-up. I'd love to know if others have had this occur as well and if there's any rhyme or reason to it. Link to comment
AaronJB
PRICELINE and HOTWIRE reservations do not qualify for any rewards programs/bonuses/upgrades, but people do luck out at times. Might have been a slow time, who you talked to at check-in or other factors. $100 resort credit plus a discounted reservation is an awfully sweet deal, though. :) Enjoy your stay. Link to comment
zukerama
We used Priceline for a single hotle night 3 years ago (10/2011) and received the Palazzo for $100. They upgraded us to a luxury suite. We suspected it may have been A: We were celebrating our anniversary or B: We were only staying for one night. Just thought I'd share, as we did receive an upgrade despite getting the room via Priceline. Cheers! Link to comment
