Hotwire Hotel: 3.5* Pittsburgh (Airport PIT North) Hyatt Regency Pittsburgh Airport

Hi,

 

I am flying into the Pittsburgh airport very late on Tuesday 5/27 (getting in at 12:25am), and I want to stay at the Hyatt Regency Pittsburgh International Airport

(1111 Airport Boulevard) specifically because it is attached to the airport...It will be very easy for me to just get to my room quickly, and I can wait till the next morning to get my rental car.  I am noticing that people have won that hotel quite a lot on here, but I'm not sure if there is a way to *guarantee* that is will be that exact hotel.  I really need it to be that hotel, because any other hotel would be a hassle to get to at that hour.

 

Any tips?

There is no way to bid for a particular property. If you bid for a 4* (to use an example) in a particular zone, you have to be willing to stay at any of the possible hotels at that star rating in that zone. With Hot.wire, you can make an educated guess as to which hotels are showing based upon the amenities given. However, that is an educated guess and no guarantee, as there's always the chance the way a particular hotel appears on the service may change.

 

Are you seeing any 3.5*'s in the Airport North area on Hot.wire? If so, please provide the price per night and full list of amenities.

Ok thanks!   Hotwire has a 3.5* hotel in the Pittsburgh Intl Airport PIT North area for $59 per night.

 

Amenities are:

Airport shuttle

Restaurant(s)

Internet access

Tennis nearby

 

 

Any guesses as to which hotel that might be?

I just realized I've been posting in the Price.line forum and this is really a Hot.wire question!

You can keep all posts for this stay in this same thread. Once you win a hotel use the ADD REPLY and REPORT WIN button on the lower right corner of this page and when you fill out the form to report your win, the entire thread will be moved to the correct section of the board (if necessary).

I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links.

If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above? Using this method this is the full amenity set i'm seeing for this 3.5 star property when searching for your nite:

... if this is what you're seeing, my guess for this one would be the Hyatt Regency.

I went ahead and made the purchase with fingers crossed and........................I GOT THE HYATT REGENCY! Exactly what I was hoping for! (I booked through the BiddingHelper.com link.) The price was $55 + tax for a total of $68.97 (compared to the $217 + tax full price for that hotel on that night). Needless to say I'm thrilled!!! Thanks sooooo much for all your help!
