Jose Buleo
I've got some friends who are staying at an expensive hotel near the pier and I was wondering... what are the odds of getting a nearby hotel on a budget? I won't have a car, so Marina del Rey is not an acceptable place. I know the area is quite big and my trip would take place in the summer when I guess it's a peak season. I need a double room between July 31st and August 2nd for about $150 per night tops. I've seen one for $126 on Hotwire with free breakfast. Any idea which may be? Thanks. Link to comment
AaronJB
In terms of bidding on PRICELINE, which zone/s would be acceptable? You have to be willing to stay anywhere within the selected zone in terms of bidding. For the HOTWIRE offer, please provide the full list of amenities showing with the listing and we would be happy to take a look and try to ID the listing.Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. Jose Buleo
I'm willing to stay only in Santa Monica but the area also includes Marina del Rey which is a way too long walk, so I guess I'll stick to one of the cheap motels within walking distance to the Pier rather than running the risk of being a few kms apart from my friends.Thank you for your help. AaronJB
HOTWIRE may be a better choice in terms of trying to narrow down a property, although that is not guaranteed. Is there a listing of interest for your date/s on HOTWIRE in an acceptable zone?Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. Link to comment
Jose Buleo
The only hotel I could afford on HOTWIRE would be a 2* hotel 80% recommended, free internet, free parking, free breakfast for $125. Any idea which one it could be? Link to comment
thereuare
If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you also see INTERNET ACCESS associated with this property (in addition to the Free Internet already listed)? If so, my guess for this property would be the Ramada Limited Marina del Rey.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Jose Buleo
Yes, I do see "internet access" and Ramada Limited Marina del Rey is way too far from the Santa Monica Pier so I'm not going to use any of the opaque providers. Thanks again for your help. Link to comment
