yellowdog
Welcome to BetterBidding :) I believe there may have been more amenities than you listed in your post. HOTWIRE has a new interface which is not currently showing the complete set of amenities at the usual point of the search process. Please run a new search using our BiddingHelper.com tool at the top of this page. Once the search is completed, use the EASY VIEW TAB and click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing to view the complete set of amenities. Then copy and paste the amenities, as well as the price, in a reply to this thread and we will then have a look at this offer. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your purchases and searches.Yellowdog. thereuare
I don't have a guess for the 3* property.... a guess for the 2.5* would be the Bayview Plaza Waterfront Resort (but i'm not certain)Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know whatever you decide to do for this stay or if we can be of further help. highlander2
I am not sure if the is the correct place to put this, but I have been bidding on PRICELINE (using the link) for the past few days, I am up to $142 with no luck and no counter offers. There is only one free bid and that would be largo, but I have not used this just in case there is a 3* there that is not known about. Link to comment
thereuare
For what star rating have you bid up to $142/nite?You should NEVER use the Hotel Lists to determine your re-bid zones, the only method that should be used is the one outlined here: Priceline Re-Bidding Explained.Keep us updated on your progress and let us know how we can be of further help. Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board. highlander2
Just to be able to compare, can you provide the back-up and price per night? The Dolphin Beach Resort, $143. No resort fee, free internet and parking. The reviews are mixed that is why we are still loooking. Will pay up to the $150 range. There was a good one on Expedia, an unnamed one that I tried to book, it was $141, but I couldn't get the booking clerk kept insisting that I give the actual name of the hotel, he didn't get it that it was an unnamed proberty. It was gone the next time I tried. Last year we got the Sirata and were hoping for that again. Link to comment

Tried to call again, but by that time it was no longer showing. Last year we got the Sirata and were hoping for that again. They gave us a rate of $176, but parking and internet are extra. AaronJB
Expedia's unnamed hotels are provided by HOTWIRE. I believe Travelocity now appears to be offering the same, I wasn't seeing Travelocity's Top Secret hotels when searching a couple of destinations yesterday. Please keep us updated on your progress bidding and let us know if you have any questions.Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE, Expedia or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. highlander2
We ended up at the Sirata, booked through another source. This was the property we were aiming for. Will certainly check Hot.wire and Price.Line rates for our next trip. Thanks for your help. Link to comment
