Alex in MI
The 4* Downtown looks like The Blackstone Renaissance Chicago, which I just booked (see my Hotwire hotel thread below). If the listing said 95% recommended and 4.5* on TripAdvisor, that's almost certainly the one. Link to comment
thereuare
I'm currently seeing a different 4.5* Water Tower property then the one above, but my best guess for the one posted would be the Omni Chicago Hotel. For the Grant Park property i'd agree with Alex in MI that The Blackstone Renaissance Chicago Hotel would be the best guess here. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. AaronJB
The Blackstone is a very nice, very historic property. If you need to be in the Loop (and particularly South Loop - pleasant walk to the museum campus), but if you are going to be spending a lot of time out at night, I'd suggest staying North of the river. That said, I'm seeing noticeably different prices when searching for this date this afternoon.Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
