champfrancisco
Trying to find a 5* property from 4/12-4/15 at Strip North or Strip South. I will provide the amenities below but I believe I can narrow down the Strip North to Trump Towers since the amenities do not include a casino. Strip South is a little more tricky. It does not list a Casino so I think it narrows it down to either the Four Seasons or Vdara but they both seem to have the same amenities. I am thinking it is Vdara since it is typically reflected in most winning bids but I can't say for certain. Any help or confirmation of these properties would be greatly appreciated.5* Strip North $99Spa Services Resort Free Parking Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool Restaurant Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Kitchenette 5* Strip South $118Free Parking Free Internet Suite Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool RestaurantBusiness Center High-Speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Spa Services Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Roll-in shower Link to comment
AaronJB
The 5* North amenity set would be a likely match for the Trump. The 5* South amenity set would be a possible match for the Vdara or Four Seasons. There is no tripadvisor rating showing (although unfortunately that would not help in narrowing things down, as the TA ratings for both properties are the same.)Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. redtop43
I will add to this thread since the dates are close (two weeks earlier) and the question is the same, 5* Vegas.I found a 5* north for $91 that does not list a casino, so I assume that would be Trump. There was a 5* south for $96 without a casino, from what others have said, I assume that is Four Seasons or Vdara? Is that correct? Why would Four Seasons be "non-casino?" It is at the top of Mandalay Bay. I've never been there, but I assume it's no further from the Casino than Mandaly Bay itself?5* South $112Resort, Free Parking, Casino, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, High-Speed Internet Access, Golf Nearby, Spa Services. Resort Fee of $25.5* South $130Only amenities listed were accessible, blind, etc. Not even restaurant and pool. No resort fee. Kinda weird.5* North $129Resort, Free Parking, Suite, Casino, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, High-Speed Internet Access, Golf Nearby, Tennis Nearby, Spa Services. Resort Fee of $20.5* North $129Not even an amenity listing. Resort fee of $20. Link to comment

champfrancisco
Bidding Problems weekend of 4/12-4/13 Just wondering if anyone out there has had problems bidding for this weekend in Vegas. I have gone up to $80 for a 4 star in the North and South Strip areas. I figured that as I got closer to our arrival date of 4/11 I would have better luck. The max bid for 5 Star would be $120. Is there anything going on that weekend that would make it a tougher weekend for bidding. I figured the weekend after the NCAA would be a little quieter and I didn't any major conventions. Am I missing something? Link to comment

champfrancisco
I say max for the 4 Star would be $90 and the 5 Star $120. I am hoping that a few days before I can steal a deal! I have the Luxor as a backup at $80/night just in case. Link to comment
thereuare
If you didn't, please note from our Support Page that we are an affiliate of the Luxor... please check for and use the links there for your future hotel direct purchases. Not sure how long ago you booked the Luxor but rates are somewhat higher now. Although rates in Vegas change more than frequently then any other market in the US, current rates suggest $110 for a 5* or $80 for a 4* on the strip will be a bit difficult. Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board.Good luck and let us know if you're successful in the coming weeks.
