dfws4
Thank you so much for the reply. Do you know how we can guarantee a room with 2 beds? I tried putting in 3 guests and the hotel did not come up. I then tried 4 and the rate jumped from 111 to 180. I put 2 adults and 2 children and the rate remained the same at $111. Thanks again. AaronJB
Are you a party of two who are looking for more than one bed, or more than two? If you are two, I'd suggest searching for 2a/2c. Indicating four doesn't guarantee two beds, it ensures some form of bedding (it can be 2 beds, 1 + sofabed or 1 + rollaway.) If you indicate two, you're likely to get one bed, and a number of Vegas properties have been reported to charge for upgrading to a room w/two beds.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. thereuare
Assuming a 'worst case scenario' of one bed and one sofabed or rollaway brought into the room and you book this way for 3 adults, there is a chance that you get 'caught' and need to pay an upgrade fee, but i would think that chances are low given how big Vegas is... only have one (or at most two) person go to check-in desk and make sure to tip housekeeping every day (as that is another source of getting caught... trash the room and/or make a mess she will be more likely to make a further inquiry). If you book for 2a/2c you could always call afterwards and state that one of your kids may not come but a friend of yours will be joining you... is that 'ok' or is there an upgrade fee you can pay ahead of time to ensure a room with two beds.Ultimately it's a risk you have to decide if you want to accept or not. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll advise accordingly. redtop43
I'm new to this board but a very experienced Priceline/Hotwire bidder.Question, do Hotwire rates include resort fees?I'm looking for the exact same dates. I stayed at Aria a few years ago, the rooms aren't especially large, but they're nicely appointed. I didn't like it as much as Venetian/Palozzo. Link to comment
