droberts515
I just tried bidding on the Sydney Harbor Marriott through PL as well. I tried 2 bids: 1 for $90USD and then a second for $125USD. They denied both for a November 25th - 30th stay. Some people have gotten lower rates. I wonder if you have to stay for a week to get the lower price? I rented a car through Priceline once for 10 days and got like a full-sized car for 20 bucks a day. That was a deal. The rates go down a lot if you book a car for an extended time. Does Priceline work hotels that way too?Going to try $140.00 in a few days. That seems to be the most recent success story. Still not a bad deal. -Dave Link to comment
AEmgee
You have lots of time... try $135 before $140! Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! You will not necessarily find lower rates simply because you are looking for a longer stay, that's not how the hotel mode works.I agree with AEmgee in that you have plenty of time before this stay, be patient and systematic with your bidding.Keep us updated as to your progress.
