hottieandginger
Flying into Omaha for one-day meeting. Started bidding on an Economy car at $18 (failed). Bumped up to $28 for a Mid-size (accepted by Avis). Then I upgraded to a Full-size for another $4.Not a bad deal. But I just realized that Priceline/Alamo was actually cheaper. Rats! Link to comment
thereuare
Thanks for sharing your win with the board.Sorry to see you found a cheaper rate with a competing car rental company after you booked. In the future, try using our Car Rental Checker (under the TOOLS menu at the top of the board) which with one search will show rental rates from multiple sources to help minimize the chance of an overbid in the future... much as our BiddingHelper.com does for hotels)Have a good trip... and good luck at the business meeting. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
