Priceline Hotel: 4* Monterey/Carmel 26-27th August 2012

Dear all,

i'm looking for a 4* hotel in the region of Monterey or Carmel for, Aug 26th. I checked the hotel pages in the area and the Hyatt Regency with 130$ +resort fee :-( per night is the cheapest four star i found. Some guys below won it here for 110$ which is not a great saving. I see three rebidding areas (Salinas, Marina and Pacific Groove) as all three don't have four star hotels for that night. At which level shall i start?

There is no 'Carmel' zone on PRICELINE so we'll just bid the Monterey zone...

At the 4* level you have THREE re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

I need help as well! I have been looking for 4*Monterey hotel in Aug for Aug 24 - Aug 26, 2 rooms.

I've been rebidding for '4* Monterey' for Aug 24 - Aug 26, 2 rooms. I started at $85, went up to $112, still no luck. I tried all 3 rebid zones, but no success so far. I tried 3 or 4 times so far, almost everyday, no luck so far. I even tried for alternate dates Aug 10 - Aug 12. No luck. I usually get Hyatt Regency, 4 * Monterey hotel at @100$, this time PRICELINE has been hard on me :(

Are there any special events in Monterey? I used your PRICELINE link.

Weekends in Monterey and Carmel are in general well booked, therefore it will be harder to get a good offer. Weekday nights are way easier

Thanks for the heads up. I closed my previous disneyland thread and started new one for 4*Monterey.
