fly_up_front
I probably should have put it at the top. The $2 is a guess; it seems like the townships around ORD have a few different tax rates. It might have been a $3 overbid. In this area, you have to dial 1+ 9 digits for local calls - this goes for calling the hotel from the airport, connecting to the Internet from your room, everything. This is a good place for folks on a budget - 25 cent soft drinks, free videos and CDs for use in the room, free washers and dryers. This hotel shares a shuttle with Thrifty - you pick it up in the rental car area rather than the Hotel Shuttle Center. dks42697
Hey thanks for the additional information. Looks like it'll work out fine. Probably wont be in the room more than 8 hours anyway. :) Link to comment
bturner13
Is your Candlewood Suites like Homestead Suites and have just 1 Queen Bed? This is very important to know for folks that want to squeeze 3 or 4 folks in a room. So many hotels are doing that now is important to know in advance before bidding on Priceline because many hotel will handle out special rooms to Priceline folks! Yes, it happens often!
