This will be my last night. I've messed with bids for days now, including $85 for a 3* in Pasadena and $40 for 2.5* in Redondo. I finally decided to give the $91 for a 3* in Redondo Beach, figuring it could be the Crowne Plaza and should be a great last night. Sure enough, Your Offer Price: $91.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Subtotal: $91.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $20.83 Total Charges: $111.83 This was one of those where the pop-up on Priceline said it could take up to 15 minutes, check back. I can just see it, some excited desk clerk calls the hotel and says "We got some sucker ready to pay the big bucks! Give him the room next to the elevator, huh huh!!" Well anyway, the reviews look good on TripAdvisor and I think I might get a free buffet breakfast.Orbitz shows it sold out, Crowne Plaza's website has it at $169 as does beachcalifornia.comHotwire has a 3* at $114.I feel good!!!
