Priceline Hotel: chicago mag mile riv north

I need a 3.5-4* mag mile/river north sept 7-10. I have been trying priceline bids from 120-140. None are accepted. I have been reading about rebid zones but would like some more info on how to do this. I would love to 125 or lower. 2 people.

Hello, I did clik the above link. I would not want to go a whole lot higher, so 3.5* would be fine. The bid that was declined was for both 3.5 and 4 star. That was a few days ago.

I don't think you're too far off... $145-$165 would likely be enough for a 3.5* or better hotel.

With your stay nearly 4 months away, how high do you want to bid at this time in order to try to get this done and start focus on other aspects of your trip vs. hoping for lower prices in the weeks ahead?

Why not book either the 4* Wyndham or 3.5* Embassy Suites on Lastminutetravel.com for $122/nite while you continue bidding for something under $150 on Priceline. LMT bookings are cancelable up to 3 days prior to your stay.

The Embassy Suites is in the River North area, while the Wyndham is just off Michigan Ave.

I suggest you call and tell the nice people at Lastminutetravel.com, that you are interested in either one of these properties. Tell them you think it looks like they are $122/nite and see if they can get you a better deal. They have an ongoing promotion that if you call, you can sometimes get a better deal. Good luck.
