Used your PRICELINE link, bid on 3.5* in $3 increments starting at $120 using rebid zones 4 8 9 13 14 17 and bidding on every other zone in Manhattan. Got to $180 last night unsuccessfully. Checked Hotwire this afternoon, saw there were a lot of options for 3.5-4* for $199-217, so figured I was close to getting accepted. Bid $182 and got accepted.

$120 in fees for total of $666, or $222/night. Not too thrilled with the deal, but it seems I wasn't going to get a great deal this week. Happy that the bidding process is over and looking forward to my stay.
