thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! This hotel has not yet been identified. I would advise against a low star rated hotel in San Juan as most of the hotels notoriously don't live up to the expected standards. Even the higher rated hotels have various complaints... the lower rated ones much more so.I'll also add that your post is somewhat disappointing as you've used the information here before to help with your hotel purchases yet this is your first post... how about adding some of your wins to the board? Maybe another user won this hotel before, but they too have not yet posted their win(s) to the board. KCMOMark
Just an update, I ended up bidding on Priceline for a 4* Resort and got the Marriot stellaris casino for 11/24- 26, for $115 a night could of waited and maybe got it cheaper but I wanted to know I had somewhere to stay. Orbitz showed same room for $187.00 so I am happy. I will post this on the Priceline list also. Link to comment
thereuare
Congratulations on your win and having this settled. This is indeed a Resort property? (ie- you can't bid on a 4* Resort with priceline... they're two different rate classes... the quality level should be shown on your winning bid confirmation/email) Also, was this your first bid in the zone? Thanks for sharing and enjoy your stay! KCMOMark
You are correct. I bid on the Resort catagory. It was a resort I got it is just rated as a 4*. I didn't bid on a 4* and get upgraded to a resort. I started out bidding about 4 weeks ago, while watching for a deal on Hotwire. Started at $80 and just would rebid 3 days later and add $5. But I bid $120 a week ago and decided to just go down to $115 and keep bidding till about September if I didn't get it. We had friends staying to this hotel we are going on the cruise with so I was hoping to get it. they are staying there on rewards but I didn't want to pay $180 for it. Link to comment
