thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding!Best Western Raffles has previously been seen with this amenity set, but at the 3* level, i'd speculate that it has been downgraded since last being reported to the board and that would be my best guess for this one. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. thereuare
Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread. This property has not yet been reported to the board, but my best guess is the Super 8 Disneyland Dr.If you are interested in this property, and since this is an extended stay, you could see if this same property is offered for the first (or last) nite of your stay and then again for the balance. If so, you could purchase the solo nite in order to 'look behind the curtain'. If you're happy with the results purchase the remaining nites, if not, make alternate plans for the balance of your stay. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. ty311usvi
Thanks for the info! Will it allow me to add the other nights within the initial booking? Link to comment
thereuare
The ability to add nites may or may not be given, but you can't book one nite and then book the remaining 5 nites of your stay, you can only add nites equal to or less than the number of nites in your original booking. The idea presented above is to do a search for the first (or last) nite of your stay, and before purchasing, see if the same hotel is offered for the remaining nites. If so, purchase the solo nite in order to learn the ID of the hotel, then if you're happy with the outcome, book the remaining nites. Of course there is always a slight risk that the same hotel won't be offered on your subsequent search for the second purchase, but if you search both sets of dates just before you make the first purchase, the chances are low that the second search will disappear within 2-3 minutes of you original search. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. ty311usvi
So i took a gamble and booked all 6 nights for the 2* in Anaheim North. I ended up getting the Ramada Limited Maingate North. Not extremely excited about that one based on reviews and their own website photos. After i booked i called the hotel to request non-smoking and 2 queens. The person at the front desk told me i only had 1 queen?!?! I didn't know those types of room still existed. I mentioned that Hotwire guarantees quad occupancy, which i booked, and he said I could pay $10 more per night to upgrade. Ummmm, no thanks! So i called Hotwire this time and spoke to a super nice and helpful rep who contacted the hotel and confirmed what they had told me. He said they would pay the extra charge or relocate me. I asked to be relocated and ended up getting Best Western Raffles in Anaheim South. By all appearances a nicer property and a better value for what i spent ($45 per night). Thanks for educating me on the Priceline and Hotwire ways and I will use your links again in the future! Link to comment
