Cimbom
Hello,I am using Priceline and would like to book for November 24 to 29. Ideally, I would like to stay in Beverly Hills or Downtown LA (4 stars). I have tried up to $100/night without luck.Thoughts? Link to comment
thereuare
Rates at the moment are a bit higher than usual... it may be that hotels anticipate higher than expected demand for these dates for some reason, or that it's just too early for hotels to be discounting too deeply. At current rates i think you may be successful at $120-$130, but not sure if you want to bid higher this far ahead of your stay in order to 'get it done' or if you want to wait it out and hope for lower prices in the weeks ahead.Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Cimbom
Thanks for your reply. Could the prices be due to Thanksgiving? I'll probably try again in a few weeks. Link to comment
AaronJB
The days leading up to Thanksgiving are usually at least somewhat slower in cities like NYC and Chicago, but the days right after that are generally higher due to Black Friday/shopping. Please keep us updated with what you decide.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. Link to comment
