vered4
My best friend got married last Sunday night...and got the GRAND HYATT in Buckhead for her wedding night for $85!She asked for early check-in - GOT IT. Asked for a high-up floor - GOT IT. She tried to upgrade to a room with a jacuzzi...and was willing to pay a little bit.....but was told that was $750.00 extra! :)) (Didn't do it!! LOL) When she and her new husband got to their room....there was champagne, cheeses and chocolate waiting for them, compliments of the man at the front desk!Anyone who claims that if you book through Hotwire that you get the tiny, corner room is WRONG!! thereuare
Guess my wife will have to start wearing her wedding dress when we check into hotels :) Truth be told, sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you 'shmooz' the front desk clerk the right way, etc... and you get whatever you want. Other times people can be mean, talk down to the front desk clerk, or the clerk is just in a bad mood... they don't get what they want and then blame it on the service they booked thru.If you have access to this reservation, can you please add the amenities shown before purchase... you can still view them by going to Hotwire and clicking on the MY ACCOUNT link near the top right of their home page. Thanks for passing along the story of your friend's experience. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
