katzdogg
I am trying to book any 3*; 3.5* or 4* in Whistler from 1/21-1/21/2012 without any luck. Hotwire is not offering any hotel rooms for those dates in Whistler. We would like to stay in Whistler village and my budget is $150/night after taxes. I have used the link on this site and been denied up to $140 on priceline. I've heard from some people that big hotel sales happen around Christmas and as it gets closer (I realize it has to do with occupancy of the hotel). Link to comment
AaronJB
Your post notes 1/21-1/21; just to confirm is this only one night? If you are looking for 1/21 only, rates are definitely on the high side - the only HOTWIRE listing is a 3* for $211.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. thereuare
Have you bid up to $140 for a 3* and above? If so, i'd increase to your maximum bid OR you can look at any of the following 3* for just over your budget and in this area (i haven't checked if any are cancelable which you could then book and use as a back-up):Whistler Village and Suites $153/niteMountainside Lodge $176/niteBlackcomb Lodge $176/niteListel Hotel WhistlerAva Whistler Hotel $179I'm not familiar with any of these, but searched the area using MAPS and HOTELS.com and these were the least expensive 3* or better in the zone. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know whatever you decide to do for this stay or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
