No dice - but Priceline offered $80.I decided instead to bump to $73 and add the Dupont Circle area, leaving 4* as the only option.Hit on the St. Gregory. It's Google reviews are a little sketchy for a 4* hotel, but it's close to the White House and Georgetown so that's good. Link to comment

yakima2k Posted December 12, 2011 Author Report Share Posted December 12, 2011 Turned out to be a very nice stay. Location was excellent for sightseeing on the Mall and also walking to Georgetown. Hotel staff was helpful and the room was plenty nice. I did not experience any of the problems I had heard on reviews (ie noisy rooms, thin walls, impolite staff, etc). Link to comment
