Priceline Hotel: 4* Atlanta (Downtown) Hyatt

On this surface this doesn't look like much of a bargain BUT we are attending a Body by Vi convention which is expecting 15,000 participants at the Georgia World Congress Center and the convention preferred rates in the area are in the $129+ range. Started at $55 (had a 24 hour $5 discount reward from Priceline) moved up the ladder to $100+$5. This was going to be my stopping point for the day as there are 12 possible bids if just bidding on 4* hotels. They must have read my mind as we got the Regency at the $100 ($105) point. Regency website shows rates starting at $159 plus tax. Our two nights are $241.32 including fees and taxes so not so bad. Website says they are undergoing renovations so who knows. We won't be spending much time at the hotel though. Looks like it might be a little hike but exercise never hurt anyone, huh?
