AlleninLA
:) $111!!!! I tried yesteday evening for a 4* on PL at $150... no luck. They warned that I had very little chance of getting something accepted. So I increased it to $175 in the Midtown South Area. Still no luck. I added Midtown West at $180... and the NY Hilton was what I won. Fri-Sun (6/10-6/12). I saw it on Expedia for like $249... so at $180/night... I didnt feel that bad... seemed like I got a decent price... but $111! that really puts me to shame. Link to comment
thereuare
AlleninLA, the above win is meaningless relative to your stay as we have no idea of the date(s) involved. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
ctschida
The stay was on June 5. My first bid was $87, then I moved up incrementally. It was my first attempt at using Priceline, so I was a bit frightened about what I might get, but I was familiar enough with the 4 stars in the area to be comfortable with whatever I got.
