LHFlyer
Tried for ages for the Marriott, hoping it would be available closer to my dates. No luck up to $125. Then tried Marina Bay $91 and upped my bid by $1 with every rebid, $95 did it. Had a great stay there before, so I'm happy with the result. Cheapest rate (SQ pax) is $150.Raffles The Plaza 2 Stamford Road B Singapore, Singapore 65-63397777 Marina BayCheck-In Date: Thursday, June 9, 2005 Check-Out Date: Friday, June 10, 2005 Your Offer Price: $95.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Subtotal: $95.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $23.85 Total Charges: $118.85 Link to comment
Chris26WI
95$ should be a great price for the Raffles Plaza... tried too before.. but didn't go too high because I didn't really want the Conrad (which is possible too)... At least, I liked the stay in the Stamford quite a lot which is managed by Raffles too. Link to comment

My first stay there was a PL bid for the Stamford, but as they were overbooked, they escorted me next door and gave me a huge Premier Deluxe room. Possibly one of the very best rooms I ever stayed at... We'll see how much they'd want for an upgrade.I wanted the Marriott because of my Platinum card but as a hotel I prefer the Stamford/Raffles Plaza actually. Link to comment
Chris26WI
Sure, I didn't like the Marriott too much too.. and as what I've heared they don't really take good care of status card members.. so what you'll get is the lounge access, nothing more. And they didn't credit me any points or stay credit in the Marriott, although I asked them before tu put my MR in the booking (but they never answered).. Link to comment
