After the research done here and finally understanding Hotwire, I assumed I'd get the Hilton Garden Inn. Any of the 3* hotels with those amenities would have worked well for our 6am flight out of MDW. I checked the AAA price on line for the Hilton Garden Inn and it was $189. Prepay was $161. I also checked Hotwire every Sunday night for the next 2 months and the only better price was the 3rd-4th of July. Tonight's price is outrageous. What's so special about tonight? :)I can now cancel my $161 AAA priced Hampton Inn that was my back up. We weren't going to be there for the "free" breakfast anyway.We can certainly live with this price and a free shuttle to the airport along with free wifi. We have plenty to spare now to buy a bite to eat at the airport. Gina Link to comment
