Priceline Hotel: 4* New Orleans (CBD) Sheraton

This is for Sunday - Tuesday, including July 4, but not the preceeding Saturday night which caused on-line prices to esculate. This may look a little high but it's peak season, and booking direct would have been about double, so I'm happy. This is the one Hotwire often lists as customer favorite. Plus, I love this place, often win it, have a SPG card, and think it's first class. Super rooms, beds, views, location, elevators, bathrooms, lobby. Parking is over $25 so I park up Canal and take the streetcar for $1.25, but I take a risk leaving my car on the streets. Anyway, I'm happy!!

You are correct about this being a peak time as the hotel is showing a sold-out condition for these dates; did you win this just before posting or did you make this winning bid a few days ago? Also, was this your first bid in the zone?
