Wanted Convention Centre area, thinking Hyatt likely but could also be Westin or Intercontinental too (all acceptable). First bid of $60 got a counter offer of $75 so I knew I was close from the start. Inched my way up by a dollar or two each time thinking half way would get it but I had to go all the way to $71 using my final bid before I would have to add the Downtown zone into the mix to keep bidding. Hyatt rate was $179 which I think is really high for this property with other comparables around $139 to $149. I may also try for Sunday night as it is cheaper on the Hyatt site at $159 and I may be able to go early - I tried $60 for Sunday just to test it and also got the same $75 offer. I also tried $60 and $65 in the Downtown zone with no luck but would prefer to be in the Convention centre area so stopped bidding that zone. Link to comment
