samgeez
Was hoping for the Hotel Palomar so followed the bidding/re-zoning as suggested on another post for that hotel:65$ rejected, add zone70$ rejected, add zone75$ rejected, add zone80$ accepted+ 19.72 tax and fees99.72Saved more than 50% so I cant complain. For future reference (since I am slightly still confused), if I am bidding for a 4* hotel in downtown Philly I can potentially get any of the designated 4* hotels listed, correct? Thanks! thereuare
Congratulations on your success! While not the hotel you were hoping for, glad to see you're happy with the results and the deal you received. When bidding for a 4* hotel you can receive any 4* hotel in the zone... the hotel lists here only contain hotels reported to the board and hotels are added/removed from PRICELINE, as well as upgraded/downgraded... so you could be the first to report a new hotel or a hotel already reported but at a different star level (if it's been upgraded/downgraded since last reported)Also, if you're referring to the 'retail' listings shown by PRICELINE, that section of their website uses their own universe of hotels, so you could receive a hotel not listed in the 'retail' section of their site.Feel free to ask for help before bidding for your next trip. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Enjoy your stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
