After some research, and winning the Melia Madrid Princessa for this same trip, I noted that in Old Madrid the most frequent 5* was the Westin. This is a trip for my husband and his brother and they really wanted this hotel. I tried for several days bidding up to $135 for these dates, each time I was offered a counter offer of $165- $170. Due to information received from this board, I knew not to accept this offer unless you are on a real time crunch. I increased my bid to $150 and was accepted to the Westin Palace. I am very happy with this hotel, it seems like a beautiful, classic hotel.Price per room(2 nights) $150.00taxes/fees $37.94 Total $337.94(used PRICELINE link to start bidding) Link to comment
