Not a bad price but a standard win for the area. Started bidding at $60 , went up 5$ at a time till I was accepted at $75. Was hoping for the Hyatt :) but the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel will do the job. :)

I don't get it, I bid for the weekend just before see "Marriott Toronto Eaton Centre" priceline thread, and had to pay $110. Did I do something wrong? Or just got unlucky with the dates?

I'm satisfied at $110, since it's still a good price. Just wondering if I could have done better.

Rates are date specific and can vary greatly from one day to the next based upon hotel occupancy levels. Sunday nites are often the cheapest nite of the week in the hotel industry (leisure travelers have already left and business travelers have not yet arrived) so the stay above (a solo Sunday nite) may be available for less than your 3 nite stay.

Thanks for the information. That makes sense. I'm still satisfied with my $110 rate, since I'm saving a lot over people who reserved without Priceline and it looks like a great 4* hotel.

Actually my bid was for two nights Saturday and Sunday but you are bang on about weekends. They ( hotels on Priceline) have always been cheaper and more accessable on weekends in my experience in almost every city.
