TraceyMc
3.5* NMA Hotel Indigo$95 10/1 - 10/2/10Boutique/Fitness/Restaurant/Business Center/High Speed/Golf/Tennis/SpaIt is almost 1 a.m., and I just booked this for (later) tonight, because this FREAKING Club Quarters on Adams Street where I'm staying has decided that everyone would like their room temp at 85 degrees. I am hoping that Hotel Indigo still allows guests to control their own thermostats.Used the Better Bidding HOTWIRE search box - thanks! Link to comment

AaronJB
The Indigo is a terrific little property in a great location! Very sorry to hear about the situation at the CQ. :)Hope you enjoy your stay and please let me know if you have any questions about the city/area. Link to comment
TraceyMc
Thanks! The rate I got at the Indigo was about $50 cheaper than what I'd been paying at the CQ, which was reserved for the conference I'm attending. I think my strategy next time will be to book the CQ as a backup (since I can cancel without penalty) and then hit HOTWIRE near the last minute to try to get a deal on the Indigo. It's only a few Red Line stops from the annual conference site. I love this site. :) Link to comment
thereuare
Glad to hear the site has been helpful :)Your strategy for the future of booking a back-up is a good one, but i don't necessarily advocate waiting until the last minute as sometimes rates go up instead of down :) As well, just because the Indigo was the last minute acceptor this time around, doesn't mean it will be next time... rates really are date specific and in the future, whether you bid early or late, i'd be prepared for any hotel in the zone, not necessarily the Indigo.Glad to see your stay has improved with the change of property.
